Joel and Jessi racing "Chasing Cancellara" and olympic distance triathlon in Uster

Last Saturday, Joel Guardino and his colleague Aldo were at the start line of the Chasing Cancellara from Zurich to Andermatt. On the menu: 200km with almost 4500hM. 🚀

After a short time, the two of them were already in second place and Joel, although he is in the middle of the prep. for his first long-distance race, was able to set a solid pace. After a near-accident on a descent, they continued to fight a little more defensively and crossed the finish line after 08hours and 04minutes in 2nd place overall. 🥈💥👏🏼

Huge congrats! Solid Race Joel and preciouse KMs for IM Italy.

After the cancellation of her first middle distance due to bad weather, finally was time for Jessi Preiss, alias Krambambuli, to race again.

In preparation for the 70.3 Italy, she started over the Olympic distance in Uster. Due to wind and currents, the swim was shortened to 300 meters. On the bike, she was not only able to gain her first experience of a race on a TT Bike, but also practise the handling on wet surfaces.

She stayed very focused even after the 2 near-accidents associated the non-closed course and delivered a very good race!

12th place AK W18-34 with a time of 02hours and 02minutes - Congratulations and definitely on the right track for her first middle distance. 🙌🏼🤩🚀
