Race season in full swing!
We have started the real race season, every weekend our athletes are on different start lines of triathlon and other endurance events.
Last weekend Angela Iannotta (W50-54) opened her competitive season with the 70.3 Jesolo.
It was intended as a preparation race for her first Ironman in Austria mid of June.
Well, Angela responded with a new pb on the distance, 5:34.53, a very solid performance!
We are ready to tackle the final weeks of training, so that Angela can be in top shape at the start of the Ironman.
Congrats girl, constant work pays off :-)
Oriana Heer (W40-44) took part in the olympic distance triathlon Totaltri Mallorca in Cala Millor.
For her kind of a home race, as she lives and works in Mallorca.
And what a race she had... overall women winner in a classy time of 2:35.04. For the first time ever she was able to take the top spot on the podium in an overall results list!
After several difficult weeks, the knot has now broken and we are looking forward with great motivation and confidence. Let the real 70.3 season for Oriana begin.
Very good job lady!
Last Sunday Oliver Horak ran his first official marathon in Copenhagen with the goal of breaking the 3 hour mark.
With 100g CHO/hour ingested and the motto “no risk no fun”, he started the race aggressively and pushed the 4’00” pace until he met the man with the hammer at KM32.
From then on he had to reduce his speed, but he crossed the finish line very satisfied after: 02:54:41 and an AVG pace of 04'08"/km.
Congratulations on your success and new PB!
